•Lekel Sandeese• Lekel was not new to Tesikk, to actually insinuate such a thing might have been madness, but he was new to the concept of pack life, it was something that seemed to be missing from his existence for so long. And now he intended to break it. Lekel had been wandering in the cool autumn weather, around Raye Lac until he'd reached the marshes. He had to admit on a personal level it was not a very habitable place, but he had chosen it merely for it's strategic position in neutral territory. Right beside them was a wonderful supply of food, or hopefully would be, for he had only scouted out a small part of the terrain. At the moment, the wolf was on the outskirts however, where the thick and sometimes stagnant plant life did not reside, and instead giant trees which preferred life in the extremely damp and humid summer conditions resided. This truly was the perfect spot of land, for everything they needed was right at hand. At the moment, as Lekel paced, his body quivering and glittering in the open forest where morning sunlight shone down, a plan repeated over in his head. More than this still however, a question kept asking "where is she? where is she? where is she?" over and over, stuck like it would be if he had fallen into the sickly waters only a few flicks of a tail away. She, was named Rylyn, the temptress female he had met only a short time ago, a girl who under any other circumstance he might not have tolerated. She was flirtatious and sometimes fickle, but she knew to take care of herself. Although not mates, he intended to gather the other disbanded wolves of Tesikk with her and form a pack together, right here, in this very marsh. And now, as he paced quite distressed she had blown him off, and quite agitated, Lekel opened his mouth wide, pulled in a breath and pushed out with all his might. A song projected into the air, and it said 'I am here. This is our land.' essentially, in such a beautifully and unbelievable simplified form. Then it changed pitches again, calling to her so that she might call back. Lekel settled in a larger hollowed out tree, he did not know if it was dead or not, but assumed the beast was. For a second it filled his mind that a single wolf to call out was folly, but he was positive no other packs lived around here, none at all, to pick him off. So it was then, that when he settled and dropping to the ground and curling his body in a neat circle Lekel felt safe and content. There were new beginning at hand, and all for the better. •Out of Character• I am certainly not proud of this, by no means am I proud. x.x XD And for the record I plan (hope) to have Lekel vanish from this thread today before I leave. So, it might end up brief.

"Why couldn't I have a pack?...why did I have to be blown off. Why am I so different?" Those same questions continued to float around his head, always lingering around in his thoughts. Never allowing him moments of relaxation and always leaving him restless, He continued to roll back and forth, trying to sleep or shake it off before thearing something he had heard several times. A Howl.
His ears pointed high, and his eyes scouting the land, he took a quick glance behind him and to the front, wandering where the howl coming from. It had been awhile since e had every thought of doing such a thing, and didn't depend on doing so. He wasn't sure why, but he felt the reason to do so. Sitting up straight, he jerked his head back, his mouth opened wide as his fangs glistened in the sunlight, and pushed out with all of his might.
After finishing his "Howl" he layed back down, feeling no need to get overworried about finding out who it was. His ears drooping back as whined so softly, he closed his eyes forcibly to try and wonder off into a deep sleep.

.-x-. With a smile and a wink She trod through the area. A not so pleasant looked slapped across her features. She was not happy with the muck that she was having to trudge through. And for him. Bah, he was nothing special. The only reason she was putting up with such an unappealing male was because he had a head on his shoulders. Much smarter than the other brutes she had attempted (and succeeded with most) to seduce. Where, oh where could that little wolf be. She trudged through the thick, green water of the marsh. Getting her wonderful coat dirty with the mold infested substance. She was not going to be happy when she finally found the imbecile. She picked her paws up high in order to navigate through the substance. Her auds pricked skyward as a rather loud howl came to greet her through the dense layer of foliage. That would be him. She growled at the mere thought of him before quickening her pace in the direction of his call. Not bothering to answer back. She just wanted to get out of the sticky water to flat ground. As soon as she did she scouted the area for his scent, upon finding it she followed it to the hollowed tree where he could be found laying. "Wakey, wakey Lekel." She said, shaking all of the mud and other things from her legs and under coat. "I don't know why you had to choose a place like this. It's disgusting and smells horrible." She said with a snort as she lowered her haunches to the ground. And a sparkle in her eyes .-x-.

•Lekel Sandeese• Lekel nearly jumped to his feet when he heard the song return, but felt a pang of disappointment when it was not Rylyn, no her voice was very different. He opened his mouth wide and ave another returning cry, this time saying in simplified language 'Hello. Come if you please.' and repeating again 'This is our land.' to make sure he got the idea across. This duty finished though he settled back onto the soft but much more firm ground listening idly for another return call or for Rylyn to show up. For the love of alliance, she was taking her damned time! It was not a very long time before the sound of soft footprints and then a voice cooed in his ear. Looking up the very wolf he sought began to shake mud all over him. Lekel's fur bristled and he shook his own coat, still lying on the ground. "Oh it's not so bad. Besides, it's strategically important," he informed her, almost bored. "And it smells alright by the lake. You'll adjust."

That was quiet the response that caught Shadow's attention for once. He lifted his head in the direction he heard the howl. Was he going to go towards the wolf and heed his call? Or was he going to continue his life in solitude without the chance of finally being in a pack. It was really heard to decide whether or not. What was he going to chose?
Somehow, just somehow, A wolven sigh escaped his lips as he slowly made his way towards the howl. First walking, then running, he would reach the place in no time, but once again so many thoughts were floating around in his head. Would he be rejected? Would he be made fun of since his fur was a different color?...Worst of all. Would he still be alone? Slowly reaching his destination, he quickened his pace, until a small ray of light followed behind him, whether it was fake or real, he cared not. All he wanted, was to reach the place.
Finally arriving, he slowed down until he was barly walking, seeing two wolves. He felt somewhat nervous. One was a male and another was a female. His ears twicthing furiously as he took steps closer and closer until he was just inches from both of them, his tail wagging slowly as he studied the both of them. He no longer felt as nervous that he did before but still felt uneasy.

.-x-. With a smile and a wink A growl rumbled from behind her still closed lips. She looked around the area. It truly was horrid. "I don't give a damn if it's strategic. It's grotesque." Rylyn replied with a cold glare, not necessarily in his direction. The sound of another creature's steps came toward her, causing her to roll her eyes. He just had to let others know they were here. How were they supposed to have this conversation where there was another set of ears to hear their business? She looked toward the other figure. Another male, quite young, with...interesting markings upon his coat. They weren't normal, then again. Neither was Lekel. So she shouldn't have a problem with abnormality. She let off a deep sigh and turned to face the familiar male of the too. "You can deal with him. I don't feel like chatting. The femme said before bounding up ontop of the dead-looking tree that Lekel had been resting in. And a sparkle in her eyes .-x-.

•Lekel Sandeese• Lekel couldn’t help but narrow his eyes. He looked at her, his brows lowered, but quickly grinned. She was truly impossible, how he would deal with her he was quite unsure, but a growl escaped her lips and he stood up quickly, thinking for a moment she meant him. That was when he saw the stranger. There had been no reply, no instead the animal had showed up. The male wolf’s attention returned to Rylyn, looking her and the surrounding area over. “We will not be here forever. So calm yourself,” he told her. Yes, impossible. But they could discuss lands in a moment. This now was the first time Lekel really looked at the stranger. Rylyn had just jumped over his head and he ducked trotting towards the stranger. It was a shocking sight, and his stomach jumped into the back of this throat before slowly sinking down down down. Lekel raised his eyes over the wolf, moving them slowly across the animal’s face. He was clearly a bit nervous, but that was natural, and in fact, Lekel believed it was intelligent. “Well are you just going to stand there?” he asked, pulling back his lips. The truth was, he wanted the animal to submit. He even lifted his tail into the air to help this idea along. He didn’t have to prove he was loyal, or stick around, he only needed to prove he had some brains. Still looking at the stranger however, he shouted back to his companion. “Look at it this way Rylyn, I’m offering us all bit of stability. You goin’ to suck it up and help me, or not?”

The first wolf Shadow was paying attention to was Rylyn. She seemed, different from other female wolves he's seen. She looked more leader-proof and dominant than most. He continued to stare at her with a certain look that identified that he had or was respecting her. Next up, The Wolf that already got to his bad side, Lekel.
Shadow stared at Lekel as though he was from another world, giving him the "Who the hell do you think you are?" look. Emitting a growl from his chest, his eyes glowed with a fiery hatred that was already growing for Lekel. "You expect me to submit to someone like you? Don't make me laugh. I wouldn't submit to you even if I had the chance of being Alpha for a Pack." Was what Shadow was pretty much saying to Lekel. He already had a disliking to him.

.-x-. With a smile and a wink She turned around a few times in her spot before laying down, watching the pair of males not far from where she rested. "You? Offering me stability? That seems a bit unlikely Lekel. You wouldn't be able to keep a pack running for more than an hour on your own." She said with a snort. She was still, however, waiting for the other male to make his move. He could either lay down and show that he wasn't dominant, or challenge Lekel. Which would be a show worth watching. Her auds pricked as the strangely marked male gave his words. So he wasn't going to submit and there was going to be a fight. Rylyn couldn't help herself, her bell-like laughter tolled out over the trio. "Now that was funny. You challenge Lekel?" She laughed again and came down from her spot. She circled the red sprayed male. "You wouldn't last more than three blows. Tops." She spoke once more. Making her official judgement, if there were to be a battle between the two. She moved back to stand before the newcomer and took a seat on the stable dirt. (She was still glad to be out of the swampy area.) And a sparkle in her eyes

•Lekel Sandeese• It could be honestly said that Lekel a rather taken a back by the stranger’s actions, and rather insulted too. For a number of reasons, the first was his welcome, he had allowed the animal to come into the territory, interrupt their business and in fact, would have allowed him to contribute. The second was the look he had just received baffled him further. It was not a matter of who he was at all. He’d have shaken his head with confusion and frustration, but instead kept is eyes narrowed and locked with the darker furred wolf. His ears pulled back with a feeling of suspicion. He had not said anything yet when Rylyn’s voice slid into his ears first. He snorted as she jumped down, struggling not to glance towards her. He was still fixated on the stranger, trying to penetrate his mind almost, stare him down. Rylyn’s twinkling laugh rung out among them. Lekel sighed mentally, he despised aggression, preferred psychological means. By this time however, the stranger was growling at him, and opening his mouth to spit horrible, and painful words. Oh, my poor feelings, he thought, a sarcastic voice slinking through his mind. “Someone like me, huh?” he questioned, his voice steady, he sounded unnaturally calm for the moment. “Someone you’ve seen for two seconds? I do not pretend to have time to throw about,” now he remember that Rylyn never answered his questions, her opinion was even a mystery, she would praise him once and shoot him down another. He might have screamed ‘make up your mind women!’. Lekel arched his back now, another display that he wished to be taken seriously. “I expect nothing from you,” he said at last, he would relax his body now if it did not have the potential to lead to his death, “Except to show at least a little respect when I try to offer something more than grotesque (yay, borrowed! ^^) solitude, or to leave if this isn’t possible for you. You’re ridiculous, aren’t you? Submission would not make you alpha, would it?”Over his eyes for a moment then flashed a curious look, one that said he wanted to know what in the world this wolf could have been thinking, but he quickly remembered where he was, and it vanished.

Shadow continued standing where he was, staring down at Lekel. He his growl was slowly growing playful, but apparently Lekel and Rylyn didn't take it that way. Sighing mentally, almost the same time that Lekel had supposedly done so. Sitting down, almost oblivious by Lekel's words. He licked his paw, rather hoping for a playful brawl. Too bad it wasn't possible.
Almost rolling his eyes, he looked at Lekel one more time. "Rediculous no. In some case, it would be necessary to submit for the rank of an Alpha." He turned his head as he lied down. "Your too serious Lekel..you need to lighten up. Live life a little, loosen up. You go ahead and continue talking with her. I'll just wait." He sighed, he was already disappointed.

.-x-. With a smile and a wink "Oi. Just ignore everything I said then." Rylyn spoke, rather disappointed that the male gave up after a mere matter of minutes. Not what she was hoping for at all. She could have had something to make fun of Lekel about if the oddball had won. And if Lekel won, all of the fun would have been sucked from it. Because losing, would mean they could move on to another place. A less gross place. She sighed and stood, turning back to get away from the testosterone bubble. Males are idiots. All of them. In most areas anyway. She grinned at her thoughts and took her perch back on the seemingly dead tree once more. And a sparkle in her eyes .-x-. ooc: ew, gross post.

•Lekel Sandeese• As his growl changed pitch and he dropped to he ground Lekel jumped on him and licked his muzzle, although also playful, it was another show of dominancy. “Than do it right,” he snarled, rolling off the other wolf, and shaking the moist earth from his coat. “One day, lightenin’ up will be aight (ahah slang).” Had he really read him wrong? No, such an awful tone could only be taken one way. Rylyn seemed thoroughly disappointed however and hopped back onto her previous seat. Lekel shot a bit of a final menacing look towards the stranger though, and followed her up. He was unsure where things were going to go now. “Plan to ever answer me then?” he asked, nudging her with his nose. He would have been very pleased to have accidentally pushed her right off, and very amused. He thought for a minute. “Suggest another place.” So long as it were close to their prey and to some source of water Lekel figured he would be content. He moved away from her to pace on top of the perhaps-dead tree. The humidity of the place would be awful in the summer, and it would be more realistic for them to find a new place now rather than later. Yes. In fact, it was beginning to seem like a better idea. •Out of Character• Dying. It’s dying. X.x
