If you’re looking to learn a bit more about Tesikk, this is the place to be. Questions are in bold, and answers are not. Right? Right.

TESIKK’S SOCIAL ORDER AND HISTORY
Foxes don’t live in groups naturally, so what’s the deal?
To simplify things, in Tesikk, they do. If you read the brief history, the story goes that to protect themselves from predators the foxes before Tesikk joined together and created what they called bands.
Why would horses and foxes be ‘friends’?
Since horses happened to be the equivalent to deer in the region where they lived, wolf kind nearby naturally preyed upon them, as well as the small game that the blossoming fox population did. At this same time, a horse and a fox just happened to be friends and came up with the plan to migrate. The migration to what became Tesikk left a lasting bond between the two species.
Then why do they now despise one another!?
They don’t. When wolf kind made the migration generations later to Tesikk and food began to become scarce the balance was disrupted and the species both decided to split off with different beliefs. The Lights deciding the change was nature, the Darks believing it was the fault of one another. This reason is not so important anymore though, nor common knowledge, it simply is. The animals are conditioned from birth to follow their alliance. And the Neutrals just really got stuck in between.
Why aren’t wolves divided into alliances? And why then do they prey on only Neutral horses?
The wolves had no reason to quarrel with one another and make the divide between eachother, though that is not to say some will not side with another species because for some reason they have decided that alliances are best.
The wolves prey on the Neutrals alone because they have a treaty with the Light and Dark sides. They are not to prey often on the majority of small game unless necessary, in order to sustain fox population, nor on the Light nor Dark horses without punishment.
So do the horses and foxes still protect eachother?
Yes. They still have an agreement with one another, but usually only between those of the same alliance (light, dark etc).
Can my wolf character have an alliance?
Yes! You can have a light or dark wolf (neutral, is essentially normal) who believes the alliances are the best social order possible but wolves do not typically live by alliances in Tesikk.
So if I'm a wolf and can only attack Neutrals, how do I know their alliance?
You probably don't, and will not without asking. Stick to the Neutral territories when hunting, and if you intend to actually pick off someone's character then you need to ask them if it's alright. (You can still attack them without the player's permission, or try.)
Are there 'laws' in Tesikk (In Character)
There are some sketchy ones involving the treaties/ alliances. And herds/ packs/ bands etc may invent their own.
TERRITORIES
What territories can I claim?
You may claim any territory except those in 'Undefined' which happen to be Raye Lac and Joie Fourre, without staff permission. If you would like to claim one of the two mentioned lands as your 'territory' than you should contact a staff member. Wolves are not included in this, and may claim any land they desire for themselves or their pack.
My character is Dark, can they claim a Light territory and vice versa?
Currently we are allowing different alliances to steal and take over opponent territories, but have not resolved if they may claim them. The answer for now is no. If you have an alliance, stick to its lands for now.
MISC.
Why ‘Tesikk’?
There’s no real history behind the name, we just, made it up randomly.
How does game time work?
Game time is simply how the seasons run. Here we equate one game time season to one real time month. So a year in the game is four months real time.
